I could watch this video over and over again. I love seeing three generations of Sue-Kate's family all together on that couch! When her baby smiles, it lights up the room. Her mom seems so sweet and supportive and funny. Wishing her -- and all of you moms out there -- a happy upcoming mothers day!
Like Sue-Kate, I'm a new(ish) mom. My little girl is now 13 months old. I've never had such a challenging, rewarding job in my life -- motherhood is TOUGH. Since becoming a mother, I have a greater respect than ever for my own my mom. I feel closer to her than ever, which is saying a lot because we talk almost every day! I've been thinking a lot about the lessons she taught me and it's funny, one of them is so similar to that of Sue-Kate's mom... basically, everything is temporary, everything passes, so there is a light at the end of every dark tunnel. That thought gets me through some really tough times. So, thanks mom, for giving me my positive outlook on life! I hope to pass it along to my own little one.
