Benefits of Aloe in Beauty Products
Aloe Vera contains properties that make it a natural antibacterial and antioxidant. Let’s break down what that actually means …
Aloe contains ‘polyphenols’ which fight bacteria. When it comes to skin, bacteria could be anything from blackheads to clogged pores to future breakouts. As far as what antioxidants do, think of metal when it’s exposed to the elements. Eventually it fades, rusts and generally declines. Antioxidants ward off this process and help defend your skin.
That’s why it’s great to start your DIY face masks off with a base of aloe. The beauty industry has already discovered aloe. Check out some labels on your favorite products. For your DIY venture, you could either squeeze your own from an aloe plant … or to make things simpler, try Green Leaf Naturals Aloe Vera. It’s 99.75% aloe and you won’t have to lift (or cut) a finger. Here's a coupon to get you started!
